ACTORS POV

The Swedish Film Institute, SVT and Stockholm International Film Festival are happy to present an inspirational talk from the Actors point of view.

How do you build a career in film today compared to the past? Is there room for movie stars in Sweden, and what makes taking part in a debut feature so appealing?

November 17, Gizem Erdogan will moderate a panel of prominent actors who will share their own diverse perspectives and experiences. They will also discuss the collaboration between directors and actors, and question what good directing really means. The panel features actors Carla Sehn, Johan Rabaeus, Rebecka Hemse and Joel Spira.

In addition to the panel discussion, last year’s Wild Card recipients, Johanna Montgomery Milerud, Maria Tórgarð and Theodor Solin, will offer a first look at their projects, presenting clips and concept films.

The session concludes with the announcement of this year’s Wild Card recipients, followed by a Industry mingle at the Filmhuset restaurant.
